The Godfather Part II (1974)

The trailer for The Godfather Part II revisits the sequel many consider even greater than the original. The film tells two stories side by side. In the late 1950s, Michael Corleone, now head of the family, expands its empire to Lake Tahoe, Las Vegas and Havana while facing betrayal from within and a Senate investigation. In the early 1900s, a young Vito Corleone arrives in New York as an orphaned immigrant and rises through Little Italy to become a powerful don. Al Pacino plays Michael and Robert De Niro plays young Vito, with Robert Duvall, Diane Keaton, John Cazale, Talia Shire and Lee Strasberg. Francis Ford Coppola directs and co-wrote the script with Mario Puzo. Paramount released it in December 1974. It won Best Picture and is available to rent or buy digitally.
