Forrest Gump (1994)

The trailer for Forrest Gump revisits the sweeping, Oscar-winning story of an ordinary man who keeps finding himself in the middle of history. Sitting on a bench in Savannah, Georgia, Forrest tells strangers about his remarkable life: growing up in Alabama, becoming a college football star, serving in Vietnam, playing ping-pong in China and building a shrimping business, all while never losing his love for his childhood friend Jenny. Tom Hanks plays Forrest, with Robin Wright as Jenny, Gary Sinise as Lieutenant Dan, Mykelti Williamson as Bubba and Sally Field as Forrest's mother. Robert Zemeckis directs, adapting Winston Groom's novel. Paramount released it on July 6, 1994. It won six Oscars, including Best Picture, Best Director and Best Actor, and is available to rent or buy digitally.
