Eyes Wide Shut (1999)

The official trailer for Eyes Wide Shut previews Stanley Kubrick's final film, a hypnotic erotic mystery. Dr. Bill Harford is a successful Manhattan physician, but his marriage is shaken when his wife Alice confesses a fantasy about another man. Unsettled, Bill wanders the city over one long night at Christmastime and finds his way into a masked gathering of a secret society, an encounter that may have deadly consequences. Tom Cruise and Nicole Kidman star, with Sydney Pollack and Todd Field. Kubrick co-wrote the script, adapting Arthur Schnitzler's novella Dream Story, and died shortly after finishing the edit. Warner Bros. released the film in theaters on July 16, 1999. It is rated R and is available to rent or buy digitally.
