The Prestige (2006)

The Prestige trailer is for Christopher Nolan's 2006 mystery thriller based on Christopher Priest's novel. In Victorian-era London, two young magicians, Robert Angier, played by Hugh Jackman, and Alfred Borden, played by Christian Bale, start out as assistants to the same stage magician. When a trick goes terribly wrong and Angier's wife dies, the two become bitter rivals. Their competition to create the ultimate illusion grows more dangerous and obsessive, until Borden unveils an amazing trick called the Transported Man, and Angier will do anything, even turning to the inventor Nikola Tesla, played by David Bowie, to learn its secret. Michael Caine plays an engineer who builds illusions, and Scarlett Johansson plays an assistant caught between the two. Like a magic trick, the film asks, "Are you watching closely?" It is available on 4K, Blu-ray and digital.
