The Descent (2005)

The Descent trailer is for Neil Marshall's 2005 British horror film. A year after a car crash kills her husband and young daughter, Sarah, played by Shauna Macdonald, joins her adventurous friends for a caving trip in the Appalachian Mountains, hoping it will help her heal. The group's leader, Juno, played by Natalie Mendoza, secretly leads them into an unmapped cave system instead of the one they planned. When a tunnel collapses behind them, the six women are trapped deep underground with no way back. As they search for another exit, they discover they are not alone: the caves are home to pale, blind, flesh-eating creatures that hunt in the dark. Tension between the friends turns as deadly as the monsters. Its tight, claustrophobic scares made it a modern horror favorite. It is available on Blu-ray and digital.
