Sleepy Hollow (1999)

The official trailer for Sleepy Hollow brings Tim Burton's gothic touch to Washington Irving's legend. In 1799, New York police constable Ichabod Crane, a believer in science and modern methods, is sent upstate to the village of Sleepy Hollow to investigate a series of murders. The victims have all been beheaded, and the townspeople insist the killer is a Headless Horseman. Ichabod sets out to prove them wrong, but the deeper he digs, the more he has to accept that the supernatural may be real. Johnny Depp plays Ichabod and Christina Ricci plays Katrina Van Tassel, with Miranda Richardson, Michael Gambon, Casper Van Dien, Christopher Lee and Christopher Walken as the Horseman. Paramount released it on November 19, 1999. It is available to rent or buy digitally.
