Saw (2004)

The trailer for Saw introduces the twisted game that launched one of horror's biggest franchises. Two men wake up chained to pipes at opposite ends of a filthy, abandoned bathroom, with a dead body lying between them and no memory of how they got there. A tape recorder tells them they are part of a game designed by the Jigsaw Killer, who forces his victims to make horrifying choices to survive, and one of them has until six o'clock to kill the other. Leigh Whannell and Cary Elwes play the captives, with Danny Glover as a detective obsessed with the case, Tobin Bell, Monica Potter and Michael Emerson. James Wan directs from a script by Whannell. Lions Gate released it on October 29, 2004. It is available to rent or buy digitally.
