Saturday Night Fever (1977)

The Saturday Night Fever trailer is for John Badham's 1977 musical drama, the movie that took disco worldwide. Tony Manero, played by John Travolta, is a 19-year-old from Bay Ridge, Brooklyn, who works a dead-end job at a paint store and lives with his struggling family. On Saturday nights, though, he becomes king of the dance floor at the local disco, 2001 Odyssey, where everyone wants to dance with him. When he partners with Stephanie, played by Karen Lynn Gorney, an ambitious dancer who wants to move to Manhattan, to enter a dance contest, Tony starts to wonder if there is more to life than his neighborhood. The Bee Gees' songs, including "Stayin' Alive" and "Night Fever," made the soundtrack one of the best-selling albums ever. Travolta earned an Oscar nomination. It is available on 4K, Blu-ray and digital.
