Michael Che: Shot in Minnesota (2026)

The official trailer for Michael Che: Shot in Minnesota previews the comedian's latest hour of stand-up for Netflix. The longtime Saturday Night Live writer and Weekend Update anchor taped the special in front of a live crowd at First Avenue, the legendary Minneapolis music venue made famous by Prince. In the set, Che takes on racism, marriage, free speech and politics with the dry, unapologetic delivery that fans know from the Update desk, and he does not shy away from the touchy subjects. The trailer gives a taste of his crowd work and his sharpest lines. It is his third stand-up special for Netflix. Michael Che: Shot in Minnesota premiered on October 13, 2026, and streams only on Netflix.
