The Exorcist: Martyrs (2027)

The official trailer for The Exorcist: Martyrs shows Mike Flanagan's take on the horror franchise, with Scarlett Johansson in the lead. She plays Julie Miller, a New York City detective who stopped a satanic serial killer known as Father Sunday thirteen years ago and became a hero for it. Now a new killer has written her name in blood on the wall of a church crypt, and the case pulls her back toward the evil she thought she had put away. Flanagan, who made Doctor Sleep, Gerald's Game and the series The Haunting of Hill House and Midnight Mass, writes and directs. Universal Pictures releases The Exorcist: Martyrs only in theaters on March 12, 2027.
