Jackie Brown (1997)

The Jackie Brown trailer is for Quentin Tarantino's 1997 crime drama, based on Elmore Leonard's novel Rum Punch. Jackie Brown, played by Pam Grier, is a 44-year-old flight attendant for a small Mexican airline who earns extra money smuggling cash into the U.S. for gun runner Ordell Robbie, played by Samuel L. Jackson. When federal agents catch her, they pressure her to help them bring Ordell down, and Ordell, worried she will talk, wants her dead. Caught between them, Jackie devises a clever plan to play both sides and walk away with half a million dollars. Her best ally is Max Cherry, a world-weary bail bondsman played by Robert Forster, who falls for her. Robert De Niro, Bridget Fonda and Michael Keaton co-star. Forster earned an Oscar nomination. It is available on 4K, Blu-ray and digital.
