Fright Night (1985)

The trailer for Fright Night revisits the 1980s horror comedy about the vampire next door. Teenager Charley Brewster loves late-night horror movies, so when a charming new neighbor named Jerry Dandrige moves in and women start disappearing, Charley becomes convinced Jerry is a vampire. Nobody believes him, not his mother, his girlfriend Amy or his oddball friend Evil Ed. Desperate, Charley turns to Peter Vincent, a washed-up actor who plays a vampire hunter on TV, though Peter is not sure he believes in vampires either. William Ragsdale plays Charley and Chris Sarandon plays Jerry, with Roddy McDowall as Peter Vincent, Amanda Bearse and Stephen Geoffreys. Tom Holland, who later directed Child's Play, writes and directs. Columbia released it on August 2, 1985. It is available to rent or buy digitally.
