Fred Armisen and Carrie Brownstein’s Adventures in Moviegoing (2026)

The teaser trailer for Fred Armisen and Carrie Brownstein's Adventures in Moviegoing previews a special episode of the Criterion Channel's original series. The pair behind the cult favorite sketch show Portlandia join Criterion president Peter Becker at the PAM CUT cinema in Portland to talk about the movies they have loved, obsessed over and want to share with each other and the world. Expect plenty of jokes, but also real enthusiasm for the films that shaped them as performers and storytellers. The teaser also points fans to Podlandia: A-O Rewatch, a new podcast in which Armisen and Brownstein revisit Portlandia episode by episode. The full conversation streams on the Criterion Channel.
