Frances "Baby" Houseman, played by Jennifer Grey, is a sheltered teenager vacationing with her family at a resort in New York's Catskill Mountains. One night she stumbles into a secret staff party and sees the resort's dance instructor, Johnny Castle, played by Patrick Swayze, dancing in a way she has never seen. When Johnny's dance partner, Penny, cannot perform, Baby steps in to learn the routine, and the two fall in love, despite her father's disapproval. It all leads to the big end-of-summer show, the lift, and the famous line "Nobody puts Baby in a corner." Jerry Orbach plays her father. Emile Ardolino directed. "(I've Had) The Time of My Life" won an Oscar. It is available on 4K, Blu-ray and digital.
