Clear and Present Danger (1994)

The trailer for Clear and Present Danger revisits Harrison Ford's second outing as Tom Clancy's CIA analyst Jack Ryan. When a friend of the U.S. president is murdered by a Colombian drug cartel, the White House secretly authorizes an illegal paramilitary operation in Colombia. Ryan, newly promoted to acting deputy director of intelligence, is kept in the dark, and when the mission goes wrong and the soldiers are abandoned in the jungle, he has to expose the cover-up and rescue them, with help from the covert operative John Clark. Ford plays Ryan and Willem Dafoe plays Clark, with Anne Archer, Joaquim de Almeida, Henry Czerny, Harris Yulin and James Earl Jones. Phillip Noyce directs, adapting Clancy's novel. Paramount released it on August 3, 1994. It is available to rent or buy digitally.
