28 Days Later (2002)

The trailer for 28 Days Later revisits the British horror film that reinvented the zombie movie. Animal rights activists break into a lab and release chimpanzees infected with a virus called Rage. Twenty-eight days later, a bicycle courier named Jim wakes from a coma in a London hospital to find the city deserted. The few survivors he meets explain that the infected are fast, furious and everywhere, and they set out across England in search of safety, which may be just as dangerous. Cillian Murphy plays Jim, with Naomie Harris, Brendan Gleeson, Megan Burns and Christopher Eccleston. Danny Boyle directs from Alex Garland's script. It opened in the UK in November 2002 and in the US on June 27, 2003. It is available to rent or buy digitally.
