White Christmas (1954)

The trailer for White Christmas presents the beloved Irving Berlin musical in glowing VistaVision. Bob Wallace and Phil Davis, two World War II buddies turned Broadway stars, follow a pair of singing sisters, Betty and Judy Haynes, to a ski lodge in Vermont for the holidays. There they discover that the struggling inn belongs to their old commanding general, and with no snow in sight, they put on a big Christmas show to save it. Bing Crosby and Danny Kaye star, with Rosemary Clooney, Vera-Ellen and Dean Jagger. Michael Curtiz, director of Casablanca, directs, with songs including "Sisters" and the title tune. Paramount released the film on October 14, 1954. It is available to rent or buy digitally.
