Weird Science (1985)

The Weird Science trailer is for John Hughes' 1985 science fiction teen comedy. High school nerds Gary and Wyatt, played by Anthony Michael Hall and Ilan Mitchell-Smith, are tired of being picked on and ignored by girls. Inspired by watching Frankenstein, they hook a Barbie doll up to Wyatt's computer and try to create the perfect woman. After a lightning strike, it actually works. Lisa, played by Kelly LeBrock, appears, with magical powers and a mission to build the boys' confidence. She takes them to a blues bar in Chicago, throws a wild party at Wyatt's house and conjures up a gang of mutant bikers, all while dealing with Wyatt's bullying older brother, Chet, played by Bill Paxton. Robert Downey Jr. co-stars. The theme song is by Oingo Boingo. It is available on Blu-ray and digital.
