Wayne's World (1992)

The trailer for Wayne's World brings the Saturday Night Live sketch to the big screen in a party-time comedy. Wayne Campbell and his best friend Garth Algar host a public-access cable show from Wayne's parents' basement in Aurora, Illinois. When a slick TV producer, Benjamin, offers them a deal to take the show to a bigger station, it looks like their dream is coming true, until Benjamin starts changing everything and making moves on Wayne's new girlfriend, rock singer Cassandra. Mike Myers plays Wayne and Dana Carvey plays Garth, with Rob Lowe as Benjamin, Tia Carrere as Cassandra, Lara Flynn Boyle, Ed O'Neill and Brian Doyle-Murray. Penelope Spheeris directs. Paramount released it on February 14, 1992, and its car sing-along to Queen's "Bohemian Rhapsody" sent the song back up the charts. It is available to rent or buy digitally.
