Uncle Buck (1989)

The trailer for Uncle Buck revisits John Hughes's comedy starring John Candy at his most lovable. When a family emergency calls their parents away, the Russell kids are left in the care of their Uncle Buck, a lazy, cigar-smoking bachelor who has never held a steady job or a serious relationship. Buck is not exactly a natural at parenting, but with giant pancakes, a beat-up car and an unconventional approach, he wins over the younger kids, Miles and Maizy, while battling their rebellious teenage sister Tia and her sleazy boyfriend. Candy stars, with Jean Louisa Kelly as Tia, Macaulay Culkin as Miles, Gaby Hoffmann as Maizy and Amy Madigan as Buck's girlfriend Chanice. Hughes writes and directs. Universal released it on August 16, 1989. It is available to rent or buy digitally.
