Tron (1982)

The Tron trailer is for Disney's 1982 science fiction adventure, one of the first films to use extensive computer-generated imagery. Kevin Flynn, played by Jeff Bridges, is a brilliant video game programmer whose ideas were stolen by a coworker who used them to rise to the top of the software company ENCOM. When Flynn tries to hack the company's computer to find proof, the powerful Master Control Program zaps him with a laser and pulls him inside the digital world. There, programs look like their creators, and Flynn is forced to compete in deadly games, from light-cycle races to disc battles. He teams up with a security program called Tron, played by Bruce Boxleitner. Steven Lisberger directed. It streams on Disney+.
