This Christmas (2007)

The This Christmas trailer is for the 2007 holiday family comedy-drama written and directed by Preston A. Whitmore II. For the first time in four years, all of Ma'Dere Whitfield's grown children come home to Los Angeles for Christmas. Loretta Devine plays the matriarch, and Delroy Lindo plays her longtime partner, Joe. Each sibling arrives with something to hide: a son, played by Idris Elba, is running from loan sharks; another, played by Columbus Short, has a secret marriage; and the youngest, played by Chris Brown, dreams of a music career. Regina King, Sharon Leal, Mekhi Phifer and Lauren London co-star. Secrets, fights and music lead to a family reckoning before Christmas Day. It is available on digital and DVD.
