Truman Burbank has lived his whole life in the sunny, perfect island town of Seahaven, with a cheerful job, a smiling wife and a best friend he has known since childhood. The show is controlled by its creator, Christof, played by Ed Harris. When strange things start happening, like a studio light falling from the sky, Truman begins to suspect the truth and tries to leave. Laura Linney and Noah Emmerich co-star. Andrew Niccol wrote it.
