The Mask (1994)

The trailer for The Mask revisits the cartoonish comedy that showed off Jim Carrey's rubber-limbed genius. Stanley Ipkiss is a timid bank clerk in Edge City who gets walked over by everyone. One night he finds an ancient wooden mask, and when he puts it on, he transforms into a green-faced, zoot-suited trickster with no inhibitions and the powers of a living cartoon. Stanley's new alter ego wins over the glamorous singer Tina Carlyle, but it also draws the attention of the police and a ruthless gangster named Dorian. Carrey plays Stanley, with Cameron Diaz in her film debut as Tina, Peter Riegert, Peter Greene, Richard Jeni and Amy Yasbeck, plus Milo the dog. Chuck Russell directs. New Line released it on July 29, 1994. It is available to rent or buy digitally.
