Shaun of the Dead (2004)

The Shaun of the Dead trailer is for Edgar Wright's 2004 British zombie comedy. Shaun, played by Simon Pegg, is a 29-year-old electronics salesman in London whose life is stuck: his girlfriend, Liz, has just dumped him, his stepfather drives him mad, and he spends every night at the Winchester pub with his slacker best friend, Ed, played by Nick Frost. He is so wrapped up in his own problems that he barely notices when the city fills up with zombies. Once he finally does, Shaun comes up with a plan to save his mum and Liz and wait it out at, of course, the Winchester. Kate Ashfield, Lucy Davis, Dylan Moran and Bill Nighy co-star. Pegg and Wright wrote it, the first of their Cornetto trilogy. It is available on Blu-ray and digital.
