Revenge of the Nerds (1984)

The trailer for Revenge of the Nerds revisits the campus comedy that turned outcasts into heroes. Best friends Lewis Skolnick and Gilbert Lowe arrive at Adams College ready to start a new life, but when the jocks of the Alpha Beta fraternity burn down their own house, the freshmen are kicked out of their dorm. Bullied and humiliated at every turn, Lewis, Gilbert and a band of fellow misfits form their own chapter of an all-Black fraternity, Lambda Lambda Lambda, and fight back with brains, pranks and a legendary homecoming performance. Robert Carradine plays Lewis and Anthony Edwards plays Gilbert, with Curtis Armstrong as Booger, Ted McGinley, Timothy Busfield and John Goodman. Jeff Kanew directs. 20th Century Fox released it on July 20, 1984. It is available to rent or buy digitally.
