Primetime (2026)

The Primetime official trailer 2 shows Robert Pattinson as Chris Hansen, host of the 2000s TV show To Catch a Predator. Inspired by real events in 2006, the film follows Hansen as he sets out to make television history, until a high-stakes sting goes fatally wrong and his dream of fame turns into a nightmare of justice staged for the cameras. Lance Oppenheim, who also co-directed You Can See Everything, directs from a script by Ajon Singh. Merritt Wever, Skyler Gisondo, Matthew Maher and Bokeem Woodbine co-star. Pattinson also produced. A24 released Primetime only in theaters on September 25, 2026. The real Chris Hansen has publicly objected to the film.
