Elf (2003)

The Elf trailer is for the 2003 holiday comedy that became a Christmas staple. As a baby, Buddy crawled into Santa's sack at an orphanage and was raised by elves at the North Pole. Now grown up and much too big for elf life, Buddy, played by Will Ferrell, learns he is human and travels to New York City to find his real father, Walter Hobbs, played by James Caan, a grumpy children's book publisher on the naughty list. Buddy's elf ways, from eating syrup on spaghetti to decorating a department store, cause chaos everywhere he goes. Zooey Deschanel plays the department store worker he falls for, with Mary Steenburgen and Bob Newhart. Jon Favreau directed. It is available on digital, Blu-ray and DVD.
