Con Air (1997)

The trailer for Con Air revisits the gloriously over-the-top action blockbuster set on a prison plane. Cameron Poe, a former Army Ranger, has served eight years for killing a man while defending his wife, and he is finally paroled. His flight home is aboard a transport plane carrying some of the most dangerous criminals in America, led by the brilliant psychopath Cyrus "the Virus" Grissom, who hijacks the plane in midair. Poe stays on board to protect the guards and his diabetic friend, while U.S. Marshal Vince Larkin works the case from the ground. Nicolas Cage plays Poe, John Cusack plays Larkin and John Malkovich plays Cyrus, with Steve Buscemi, Ving Rhames, Colm Meaney, Mykelti Williamson and Danny Trejo. Simon West directs and Jerry Bruckheimer produces. It opened on June 6, 1997, and streams on Disney+.
