Commando (1985)

The trailer for Commando revisits one of the most gloriously over-the-top action movies of the 1980s. John Matrix is a retired special forces colonel living quietly in the mountains with his daughter Jenny. When a former member of his unit, Bennett, and a deposed Latin American dictator kidnap her, they demand that Matrix carry out an assassination to get her back. Instead, he escapes from his captors and has just 11 hours to find Jenny, tearing through anyone in his way with the help of a flight attendant named Cindy. Arnold Schwarzenegger plays Matrix, with Rae Dawn Chong, Alyssa Milano as Jenny, Dan Hedaya and Vernon Wells as Bennett. Mark L. Lester directs. 20th Century Fox released it on October 4, 1985. It is available to rent or buy digitally.
