Billy Madison (1995)

The trailer for Billy Madison revisits Adam Sandler's first big starring comedy. Billy is the lazy, immature son of a hotel tycoon, spending his days drinking by the pool and goofing off. When his father plans to hand the family business to his scheming executive, Eric Gordon, Billy makes a deal: he will go back and pass every grade from first through 12th, two weeks per grade, to prove he can take over. Back in school with children half his size, Billy tackles spelling bees, field trips and an academic decathlon, and falls for his third-grade teacher, Veronica. Sandler plays Billy, with Darren McGavin, Bridgette Wilson, Bradley Whitford, Josh Mostel, Norm Macdonald, Chris Farley and Steve Buscemi. Tamra Davis directs. Universal released it on February 10, 1995. It is available to rent or buy digitally.
