Big (1988)

The trailer for Big revisits the comedy that earned Tom Hanks his first Oscar nomination. After being told he is too short for a carnival ride, 12-year-old Josh Baskin makes a wish at a fortune-telling machine called Zoltar to be big. He wakes up the next morning in the body of a 30-year-old man. Hiding out in New York City, Josh lands a job at a toy company, where his childlike instincts make him a rising star and win over a coworker named Susan, though growing up overnight turns out to be more complicated than he imagined. Hanks plays Josh, with Elizabeth Perkins, Robert Loggia, John Heard, Jared Rushton and David Moscow as young Josh. Penny Marshall directs. 20th Century Fox released it on June 3, 1988. It streams on Disney+.
