Being John Malkovich (1999)

The trailer for Being John Malkovich revisits one of the most original comedies ever made. Craig Schwartz is an out-of-work puppeteer who takes a filing job on the seven-and-a-half floor of a Manhattan office building, where the ceilings are so low everyone has to stoop. Behind a filing cabinet he finds a small door that leads into the mind of the actor John Malkovich for 15 minutes before dumping visitors beside the New Jersey Turnpike. Craig, his wife Lotte and his coworker Maxine soon turn the portal into a business, with strange results for everyone, including Malkovich. John Cusack, Cameron Diaz and Catherine Keener star, with Malkovich as himself. Spike Jonze directs from Charlie Kaufman's Oscar-nominated script. USA Films released it on October 29, 1999. It is available to rent or buy digitally.
