Your Name 10th Anniversary (2026)

The 10th anniversary trailer for Your Name announces the return of Makoto Shinkai's beloved anime to theaters in 4K. Mitsuha, a high school girl in a small mountain town, and Taki, a boy in Tokyo, have never met. Then they start waking up in each other's bodies a few times a week, leaving notes to help each other through school, work and friendships. Just as they grow close, the switching stops, and Taki sets out to find her, only to uncover a secret tied to a comet passing over Japan. Ryunosuke Kamiki and Mone Kamishiraishi voice the leads, with Michael Sinterniklaas and Stephanie Sheh in the English dub. Shinkai writes and directs. GKIDS returned the remastered film to North American theaters on August 14, 2026.
