Witch on the Holy Night (2026)

The Witch on the Holy Night trailer is for the anime feature film adapted from the award-winning TYPE-MOON visual novel. In late-1980s Japan, two young witches, Aoko Aozaki and Alice Kuonji, live together in an old mansion on a hill, keeping their magic secret from the modern world. When a boy from the countryside, Soujuurou Shizuki, arrives in the city and stumbles into their hidden lives, the three are drawn together in a story of magic, battles and growing up. The film is animated by ufotable, the studio behind Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba Infinity Castle, and directed by Masaru Takeuchi. The new trailer debuts the theme song "Yoru to Ao" by supercell. It opens in Japan on November 20, 2026, and Crunchyroll brings it to North American theaters on January 29, 2027, subbed and dubbed.
