The White Buffalo (2026)

The official trailer for The White Buffalo revisits a strange and moody 1977 Western. At the close of 1874, a haunted and dying Wild Bill Hickok is tormented by nightmares of a giant albino buffalo. He travels into the Dakota wilderness to hunt it down, and there he meets the Lakota warrior Crazy Horse, who is grieving a child killed by the same beast. The two legends, who should be enemies, team up to track the monster through the snow. Charles Bronson plays Hickok and Will Sampson plays Crazy Horse, with Jack Warden, Kim Novak, Clint Walker, Stuart Whitman and Slim Pickens. J. Lee Thompson directs for producer Dino De Laurentiis, and Richard Sale adapted his own novel. It was released in 1977 and is available to rent or buy digitally.
