The Hunger Games: Sunrise on the Reaping Fan Edit (2026)

This fan edit trailer for The Hunger Games: Sunrise on the Reaping is the alternate upload of Lionsgate's official fan-style cut, which treats fan editing as an art form. The story follows young Haymitch Abernathy, played by Joseph Zada, as he is chosen for the 50th Hunger Games, the Second Quarter Quell, 24 years before Katniss enters the arena. Ralph Fiennes plays President Snow, Elle Fanning plays Effie Trinket, and Kieran Culkin and Glenn Close are also in the cast. Francis Lawrence directs, as he did for four earlier Hunger Games films. Sunrise on the Reaping opens in theaters and IMAX on November 20, 2026.
