Slayground (2027)

The Slayground teaser trailer is the first look at the new A24 film from writer and director Jeremy Saulnier, the filmmaker behind Blue Ruin, Green Room and Rebel Ridge. A24 has kept the plot quiet, so the teaser is mostly a first look at the tone and the ensemble. Cory Michael Smith, Chase Sui Wonders, Stanley Simons, Sophie Wilde, Young Mazino, Imogen Poots and Matty Matheson star, with James Badge Dale and Stephen Root. Saulnier's films are known for tense, grounded violence, which gives a sense of what to expect from this one. It is Saulnier's first feature since Rebel Ridge in 2024. Slayground opens in theaters on January 29, 2027.
