River (2026)

This trailer for River lays out the setup for a stripped-down slasher. Three estranged siblings come home after their father dies and take a boat to scatter his ashes at his favorite spot on a remote river. When the boat breaks down, they are stranded miles from help with no cell signal, and they realize a faceless killer has come out of the woods and is stalking them. Jane Levy, Jessica Rothe and Max Mattern play the siblings, and Dane DiLiegro is also in the cast. Joshua Giuliano makes his feature debut as writer and director. Universal Pictures releases River only in theaters on January 15, 2027.
