Resident Evil (2026)

The Resident Evil trailer is for Zach Cregger's new take on the Capcom survival horror game series, from Sony Pictures. Cregger, the director of Barbarian and Weapons, co-wrote it with Shay Hatten. Bryan Hodukavich, played by Austin Abrams, is a medical courier making a delivery when he gets caught in Raccoon City just as an outbreak turns its people into infected monsters. With no training and no way out, he has to fight his way through the nightmare to survive. Paul Walter Hauser, Zach Cherry and Kali Reis co-star. It is a fresh story set in the world of the games, rather than a remake of the earlier movies starring Milla Jovovich. Sony released it in theaters on September 18, 2026.
