Oobah (2026)

The official trailer for Oobah: Scams for a Better Tomorrow follows filmmaker Oobah Butler, known for viral stunts like making a fake restaurant London's number one-rated spot online. In this five-episode HBO docu-comedy series, he takes on wine, wellness, royalty and more with bigger and bolder schemes. He games online reviews, invents fake personas and launches companies with completely made-up backstories, all to show how easily the world's biggest systems can be fooled. HBO pitches the show as subversive, funny and irreverent, with the idea that hacking the system might be the best way to a brighter future. It comes from A24, Abso Lutely and Central. The series debuts Sunday, November 22, 2026, at 11 p.m. ET/PT on HBO and streams on HBO Max.
