Mr. Irrelevant (2026)

The Mr. Irrelevant official trailer tells the true story of John Tuggle, the very last player picked in the 1983 NFL Draft, chosen by the New York Giants. David Corenswet, the current Superman, plays Tuggle, a long-shot running back who refused to be written off. Michael Shannon plays Bill Parcells, then in his first year as the Giants' head coach, and Isabel May plays the woman Tuggle falls for. Jonathan Levine, director of 50/50 and Long Shot, directs from a script by Nick Santora. It is the first theatrical film from Skydance Sports' partnership with the NFL. Paramount Pictures opens Mr. Irrelevant only in theaters on Christmas Day, December 25, 2026.
