Late Fame (2026)

The Late Fame trailer is for Kent Jones's drama starring Willem Dafoe, written by Samy Burch, the Oscar-nominated writer of May December, from a novella by Arthur Schnitzler. Ed Saxberger, played by Dafoe, is a former poet in New York who gave up writing decades ago and now lives a quiet, ordinary life. Then a group of young artists discovers his long-forgotten book of poems, treats him like a lost legend and pulls him back into the creative world he left behind. Ed is flattered, and also a little lost, as he starts to wonder what his legacy really is and what the young admirers want from him. Greta Lee and Edmund Donovan co-star. Magnolia Pictures opened it in theaters in August 2026, and it arrived on digital and VOD on October 6, 2026.
