Day Drinker (2027)

The Day Drinker teaser trailer introduces Lionsgate's revenge thriller starring Johnny Depp, Madelyn Cline and Penélope Cruz. Cline plays a bartender working on a private yacht who meets a strange guest on board, played by Depp. The two get pulled into the orbit of a criminal figure played by Cruz, and the teaser hints that all three are tied together in ways none of them expected. Marc Webb, director of (500) Days of Summer and The Amazing Spider-Man, directs from a script by Zach Dean. It is the fourth time Depp and Cruz have shared the screen, after Blow, Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides and Murder on the Orient Express. Day Drinker opens in theaters on March 26, 2027.
