Children of Blood and Bone (2026)

The trailer for Children of Blood and Bone brings Tomi Adeyemi's bestselling fantasy novel to the screen. In the West African-inspired kingdom of Orïsha, magic was violently stolen from the maji, and a ruthless king rules over the people who once wielded it. Zélie, a young woman with a fierce spirit, sets out on a dangerous quest with her brother Tzain and a runaway princess, Amari, to bring magic back, while the king's son Inan hunts them down. Thuso Mbedu plays Zélie, with Amandla Stenberg, Damson Idris, Tosin Cole, Regina King, Idris Elba and Chiwetel Ejiofor. Gina Prince-Bythewood, director of The Woman King, directs and co-wrote the script with Adeyemi. Paramount releases it in theaters and IMAX on January 15, 2027.
