Tyson Fury Trailer: Netflix Documentary Lands November 27
Netflix's feature-length portrait of the heavyweight arrives on Thanksgiving weekend, two weeks before he fights Anthony Joshua live on the same service.
Tyson Fury, a feature-length documentary about the British heavyweight, premieres on Netflix on November 27, 2026, and the official trailer is out now.
The timing is not an accident. The film drops on Thanksgiving weekend, exactly two weeks before Fury faces Anthony Joshua at Principality Stadium on December 11, a fight Netflix will stream live around the world. The documentary works as the long-form setup for that night. For a streamer that has been building a live-sports business around big boxing nights, a personal film about one of the fighters is the obvious way to warm up an audience that may not follow the sport week to week.
Lucy Wilcox directs, and Optomen produces. Netflix says the film traces Fury's rise, fall and redemption, with access to Fury himself, his wife Paris and his father John.
The trailer moves through the shape of that story fast: Fury as a kid, the 2015 upset of Wladimir Klitschko that made him world champion, and then the years he spent fighting addiction and his own mental health outside the ring. Netflix's description also points to the loss of a child and complicated family ties, which suggests the film spends as much time at home as it does in camp.
That domestic angle is familiar ground for Netflix viewers. The Furys already have a reality series on the service, At Home with the Furys, which followed the family's day-to-day life. This new film is pitched as the more serious, sit-down version of the same man.
Where to watch: Tyson Fury streams only on Netflix starting November 27. Fury vs. Joshua follows live on Netflix on December 11. Watch the trailer above.
