Cliff Booth Trailer 2: Brad Pitt Returns in IMAX Nov. 25, Netflix Dec. 23
Netflix's second trailer for David Fincher's Tarantino-scripted sequel lands three weeks before the film's two-week IMAX run.
The Further Mis-Adventures of Cliff Booth opens exclusively in IMAX theaters on November 25, 2026, for a two-week run, then starts streaming on Netflix on December 23. Netflix released the film's second official trailer on Friday, November 6, less than three weeks before that IMAX opening.
Brad Pitt is back as Cliff Booth, the stuntman he played in Quentin Tarantino's Once Upon a Time in Hollywood (2019), a role that won him the Oscar for Best Supporting Actor. This time Tarantino wrote the script and David Fincher directed it, the first time Fincher has filmed a screenplay by Tarantino.
The story jumps to 1977, eight years after Cliff's run-in with the Manson family. Netflix's official logline sets the tone: Los Angeles no longer needs a hippie-slaying stuntman the way it once did, but Hollywood still has problems that only Cliff's "extralegal" skills can fix. Trailer 2 leans into that idea, putting Cliff to work for an actor who wants something other than stunt work from him.
The cast around Pitt includes Elizabeth Debicki, Scott Caan, Carla Gugino, Yahya Abdul-Mateen II and Peter Weller, with Corey Fogelmanis, JB Tadena and Karren Karagulian in supporting roles. Fincher's longtime crew is attached as well, including cinematographer Erik Messerschmidt, editor Kirk Baxter and composers Trent Reznor and Atticus Ross.
The release plan is unusual for a Netflix film. The streamer and IMAX announced the Thanksgiving-weekend theatrical window back in May, giving the movie a holiday run on the largest screens before it lands in Netflix homes two days before Christmas.
Where to watch: in IMAX theaters from November 25 through the two-week engagement, then on Netflix starting December 23, 2026. The full second trailer runs 2 minutes and 42 seconds and is playing on Netflix's official YouTube channel and right here on The Trailer Park.
