The Angry Birds Movie 3 Trailer 2: Red Takes On Fatherhood Dec. 23
Paramount's second trailer turns Red and Silver into parents of three, with a new JISOO song riding underneath.
The Angry Birds Movie 3 opens in theaters on Wednesday, December 23, 2026, and Paramount Pictures released the film's second trailer on November 4.
The new footage leans hard into the premise that sets this sequel apart from the 2016 original and the 2019 follow-up. Red and Silver are now married parents of three, and the job is to keep a family running while also keeping their world from going extinct. Paramount's own line sums it up: one angry bird faces his greatest challenge yet, surviving fatherhood while saving the world.
Jason Sudeikis is back as Red, with Rachel Bloom returning as Silver, Josh Gad as Chuck and Danny McBride as Bomb. The kids are new. Emma Myers voices teenage daughter June, Walker Scobell plays eldest son Glider, and Psalm West voices the youngest, a hatchling named Olly. Tim Robinson plays Porkchop and James Austin Johnson voices Fuzzy, the family's pet spider.
The rest of the cast is a wide net: Keke Palmer, Lily James, Sam Richardson, Maitreyi Ramakrishnan, Nikki Glaser, Marcello Hernández, Anna Cathcart, MrBeast and Salish Matter, with roles not yet spelled out.
Under the trailer sits "Sun Showers," a new song from BLACKPINK's JISOO, who co-wrote it for the film. It is her first contribution to a Hollywood soundtrack, and the single's artwork features Shumon, a dustball character she first drew in middle school.
John Rice directs from a script by Thurop Van Orman, who directed The Angry Birds Movie 2. Rovio produces with One Cool Group, Dentsu Entertainment, Flywheel Entertainment and Prime Focus Studios. The project started at Sony, and Paramount picked up distribution in April 2025, which is why this trailer carries a different logo than the first two films.
The first teaser arrived in late June. With the release set two days before Christmas, the film lands squarely in the family holiday window.
